Setting the Stage

It was mid-2020, and the world was in chaos. The pandemic was in full effect, and… I was recently single.

My close friend and fellow teacher Ryan Fan told me about his writing success on Medium. The platform had given him a voice and a community where he could share his ideas.

I was intrigued.
